Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Kilimanjaro International Airport Arusha Tanzania

Kilimanjaro International Airport -Arusha
After an hour’s drive from Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will
arrive at your homestay for the evening located in Arusha town.

Day 2: Arusha- City

Your first full day in Tanzania, we want to make sure you have some time to fight jet lag, or if you’re well rested begin exploring. Today is a leisure day. Arusha offers a delightful mix of relaxation and exploration. You might start with a leisurely breakfast at a local café, followed by a visit to the Arusha Cultural Heritage Centre to admire Tanzanian art and
crafts, or explore the vibrant Maasai Market for unique souvenirs and
local textiles. For a more tranquil experience, you could spend the
afternoon relaxing at the Homestay or enjoy a scenic drive through the
nearby landscapes, soaking in the natural beauty and relaxed pace of
the region.

Day 3: Arusha National Park

Arusha National Park → Homestay
After enjoying breakfast, you will depart Arusha and make your way to
Arusha National Park in one of our LandCruiser safari vehicles on your
hour journey to the national park. Arusha National Park, located in
northern Tanzania, is a stunning gem known for its diverse landscapes
and rich wildlife. Encompassing Mount Meru, the park features lush
forests, serene lakes, and volcanic craters, offering breathtaking views
and a variety of habitats. It's a haven for wildlife enthusiasts, with
opportunities to spot giraffes, buffalo, and a variety of bird species. The
park is also renowned for its proximity to the bustling city of Arusha,

Day 4: Arusha-Moshi

Arusha → Moshi→ Homestay
Today you’ll take a short two-hour drive to experience Moshi’s Materuni
Falls. Materuni Falls is a stunning waterfall nestled in the lush
landscapes of the Chaga highlands. This picturesque cascade plunges
approximately 150 meters into a verdant gorge, creating a serene and
refreshing atmosphere. Accessible through a scenic hike that passes
through local Chaga villages and coffee plantations, Materuni Falls
offers visitors not only a chance to marvel at its natural beauty but also
to experience the cultural richness of the area. The surrounding area is
ideal for nature walks and offers panoramic views of Mount Kilimanjaro

Day 5: Lake Manyara National Park

Lake Manyara → Karatu Homestay

Day 6: Lake Eyasi

Lake Eyasi  → Karatu Homestay
Lake Eyasi is a shallow, endorheic lake located in northern Tanzania,
nestled at the base of the Great Rift Valley. Unlike many other lakes
in the region, Lake Eyasi does not flow into any larger body of water,
making it a unique ecological system. It's surrounded by a semi-arid

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater

Ngorongoro Crater → Ndutu Area → Tanzania Bush Camp
Today you make your way to Ngorongoro Crater, often referred to as
the “Garden of Eden” for its lush landscape and paradise for
animals. You will descend into one of the largest calderas in the
world where you will witness wildlife coming together on the crater
floor. Though we cannot promise a sighting, the chances are high

Day 8: Serengeti National Park

Serengeti Central → Tanzania Bush Camp 
Head out for your first game drive in the Serengeti Seronara area.
This region is famous for its open plains and is a prime spot to see
the Great Migration if you're visiting during the right season. Look for
large herds of wildebeest and zebras, as well as predators like lions
and cheetahs. For lunch, enjoy a picnic in the park, taking in the
stunning surroundings. After lunch, continue your game drive,
exploring different parts of Serengeti to spot a variety of wildlife and
perhaps some unique bird species. Return to your lodge or camp in
the evening for dinner and relaxation, sharing stories about your

Day 9: Serengeti National Park

Serengeti Seronera → Tanzania Bush Camp 
Start your day with an early morning game drive to catch the sunrise
and see predators in action. Afterward, enjoy a bush breakfast in a
scenic location, soaking up the beauty of the Serengeti. Continue
your game drive, focusing on different areas to maximize wildlife
sightings and appreciate the diverse landscapes of Seronera. Return
to your camp for lunch and a brief rest. After the last game
drive of the day, head back to your accommodation in the evening
for dinner and a chance to relax, perhaps with a sundowner drink or

Day 10: Serengeti National Park/ Karatu

Day 11: Cultural Tourism In Mto wa Mbu

Karatu → Mto wa Mbu → Tarangire Safari Lodge
After breakfast, you will make your way to Mto wa Mbu, a town
nestled along the banks of the Mto wa Mbu River. This small town is a
melting pot of various ethnic groups, including the Chaga, Maasai,
and Datoga, each contributing to its rich cultural tapestry. Visitors
can explore the lively market, sample a variety of local foods, and
experience traditional crafts and customs. After a culture-filled
afternoon, make your way to Tarangire National Park. Dinner and overnight stay

Day 12: Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park → Tarangire Safari Lodge
Start your morning with a fresh cup of roasted coffee overlooking
the beauty of Tarangire. Tarangire is known for its large elephant
population, iconic baobab trees, and networks of swamps. This park
is often overlooked in the northern circuit but offers incredible
chances to see wildlife up close as elephants congregate near
baobab trees to stay out of the sun, or see elephants swimming in
the water. Enjoy capturing photographs of the large herds of

Day 13: Tarangire National Park/ Arusha

Tarangire Safari Lodge → Arusha → Homestay
After breakfast, you will begin your journey back to Arusha from
Tarangire. On this three hour scenic drive, watch as the landscape
transitions from the rolling savannahs and baobab-studded scenery
of Tarangire, gradually to more lush and varied terrain as you
approach the town of Mto wa Mbu. The backdrop of the Great Rift
Valley and views of Mount Meru can also be glimpsed on a clear
day, adding to the scenic appeal of the drive. Relax this evening as
you settle into your homestay  and prepare for your travels tomorrow.

Day 14: Departure Day

Kilimanjaro International Airport → USA
Today you will be driven to Kilimanjaro International Airport as you
